Chapter XV

The Ensnare

Alex sub-conscious appears at the top of the building where Satan with Morgana was standing, he then appeals to Satan, what he is doing.

Alex;
Stop this!

Morgana;
How dare you talk to my master in such ways?

Satan; (multiple voices)
It’s alright my dearest, no need to be rude with our guest,
Dropping by, without any invitation very unethical, Keeper!

Alex;
Shut up Satan.
There innocent they don’t deserve this?

Satan; (multiple voices)
Are you certain about that…
You’re becoming more powerful each and every day Keeper.
Gaining the element of water is too much for you
Unite with me I’ll guide you with your new found power

Alex;
Never, Cassandra dies and my grandpa protecting these keys
I won’t allow you to use me and the keys power.
I will, vanish from eternity, Satan.

Satan; (multiple voices) (flashing quickly towards Alex, holding his neck)
I dare you try.

Instantly Alex lost the vision, coughing like his been choked, the Guardians ask what happen, Alex elaborate everything on what is going on, at the city. Knowing the current situations, The Guardians have a split decision, to help the city civilians or to find the three remaining keys.

Llandra;
This is the reason, why Satan is doing this
He wants to distract our attention, he knows our weakness.

Leto;
I agree he wants us to split our forces.

Lantis;
We all know that,
But we can’t let those innocent people die.

Cattusia;
Blood always spilled in our fight between Satan. But one thing we can’t ignore is the cry of innocents, that’s one of our obligations as Guardians of Heaven and God.

Llandra;
I have a plan.
The Keeper will continue to look for the Key, Cattusia will go with him
We three will go to the city and help the civilians.

Cattusia;(looking at Llandra)
No, Leto should go with the Keeper. Satan might send Wails to look for the Keys,
Leto can match his strength I can’t. I’ll go with you guys.

They, then separate their ways, to find the keys and to protect the city people. Alex then concentrates to find the next key, While Lantis started to open a portal through the city.

Cattusia;
Be safe my Keeper
Protect him Slayer

Leto;
I will, let’s go Keeper

Lantis; (while looking at Leto)
Common Guardians!

As Leto and Alex climbed the steel stairs of the sewer, the other three Guardians enter the portal, appearing at the city. Here, zombies devour city civilians. Screaming and running for their lives.

Llandra;
Oh my God!

Cattusia;
Let’s just stick with the plan, kill all zombies.
Then where out of here.

Lantis;
I wish that would be easy.
Can you control them?

Llandra;
I don’t think I can, since they’re dead and don’t have brains.

Cattusia; (looking at Llandra and Lantis)
Llandra? Lantis?

Lantis & Llandra;
Ready!

Lantis;
Vox Attonitus (Power Stun)

Cattusia;
Let’s go, Llandra.

An invisible power hits the zombies making them stun in a period of time, giving chance to the civilians to run for their lives while Cattusia using her umbrella and Llandra using her twin flute slash their head off in a running manner. As the two Guardians simultaneously attack the stunned zombies, Lantis calls on his butterfly to nest on his right hand, whispers some words, then blew the butterfly away to attack the zombies

Lantis; (In a whsipering voice)
Chastise thy Evil!

As Lantis blow his butterfly away, it grew a lot bigger, this made it also fly more faster like a sharp boomerang to attack and slice the head of zombies, with these attacks, the sibling vampires and Plague notice them. The sibling Vampires cries for thier Master Satan on what the Guardians is doing to their Zombies.

The Sibling Vampires; (crying voice)
My Lord!

Satan with Morgana looks down to see the Guardians killing his Zombies.
While plague land at the building, asking for Satan’s command,

Satan; (multiple voices)
Draco!! Lilith!!

The sibling vampires withdraw in attacking the civilians and get back at the building where Satan is, with this scream, the Three Guardians notice that Satan is looking down at them at one of the tallest building.

Cattusia; (looking up)
Satan

Satan caught the eye of Cattusia, smiled at her, then asked for Morgana to come close to him. Morgana looks down and smiled again at her. Cattusia notice something is odd on their actions and seeing all Minions beside Satan. She then calls the attention of the two Guardians to quickly retreat. But Morgana Already raise her right hand and…

Morgana;
glacies telum pluo (ice spears shower)
ha ha ha ha

Cattusia; (running back, then morph herself into a black panther)
Get back!

Ice spears rained down at the city road. As Cattusia, Llandra and civilians run back, shower of falling ice spears hits other civilians and zombies, Lantis saw what’s happening, he instructed the two Guardians to direct the city people to come close at him.

Lantis;
phasmatis domesticus (Spirit dome)

A spirit force field appears protecting the city people and the two Guardians. Morgana seeing what his brother have done, she insanely laughs, then summon stronger ice spears, this time focusing on the force field that Lantis created.

Woman; (Shivering voice)
We are going to die…

Man; (Panicking)
What the hell is going on?

Lantis;
It’s alright were here to protect you from them.

Woman II; (in a crying voice)
Who are them? , who are you people?

Lantis;
Its okay, just be calm, stay within this barrier.

Man II; (angry voice) (running out of the barrier)
This is crazy.
your all crazy, people!

Cattusia; (holding the man down) (in commanding and strict voice)
nobody leave the barrier!
if you want to live!

Llandra; (pertaining at Lantis) (Cattusia looking at Lantis)
Cattusia!

Lantis hands are starting to quiver, right then left.
And his glowing red butterfly beside him begins to dim its glow.

Lantis;
I can’t hold it any longer you have to save the civilians
I’ll create a portal to teleport you guys far from here, guide them.

Cattusia;
We can’t live you here alone. I’ll stay with you.

Lantis; (swing his right hand)
Okay then.
Luminare prodigium videor (Luminous portal appear)
Go! (His nose is starting to bleed) (while his butterfly is nesting now from his shoulder)

Cattusia;
Llandra guide them…
People enter the white light, hurry!

Civilians look at the three Guardians, confuse and scared if this people truly will save them, in Satan hands. Still Morgana continuously target the barrier that Lantis created with her ice spears.

Lantis; (shivering voice)
Don’t be afraid you’ll be safe from the other side.
Trust us, please.

Cattusia;
Quickly move!

Lantis;
Please hurry!

Llandra;
Be safe.

As Llandra enter the portal where she is the last, a thing enters through the force field, striked Lantis, hitting him into a large building wall. Cattusia surprised what was it, run towards Lantis, as the smoke faded of the dash sand because of the crash, CAttusia saw Satan standing in front of him then grabbing Lantis in his neck.
